Had problems with the zipper tab breaking on these boots. Great boots otherwise. Convenient to have a zipper versus laces. Pretty light and steel toe protection.
I just bought my second pair of 610 USAF zipper boots. The first pair lasted for almost three years w no problems. I did a lot of research before I initially bought the first pair. Belleville recommends zipping up the boot and using the laces to tighten it up to what feels right. Thats what I did and I had no problems with these boots. I think some of the problems with the zipper coming off track or the tab breaking off is because those people are using the zipper to tighten the boot itself. These are really the best boots I've owned since I joined the Air Force and I'll keep buying them as long as they keep making them.
I bought these online and they are great hot weather boots. The two vents on the side allow your feet to breathe rather than swelter inside the boot. That really helps after having these on all day in Iraq. Thank God the Air Force authorizes side zip boots unlike the Army who can't wear these. Great boots.
My zipper came off the tracks on my left boot and I can't retrack it. I sent it back to Belleville and they gave me a new pair. Good customer service but it was inconvenient to find my old boots to wear for two weeks.
